Stephen (Steve) Haptonstahl is ‘polimath’ not because he is a polymath but because he taught and researched patterns (math) in politics. These days Steve is a director of data science at Capital One where his teams helps build Eno, a multi-channel intelligent assistant. He is father to two crazy children, and husband to an intelligent and beautiful wife. Previously he was faculty in political science and math departments, an IT professional, a US Navy sailor teaching the of hunting submarines, a tile installer, and baker of moderately interesting cakes.
